Due to bad weather, the cruise has been changed from January 21st to Monday, January 27th. The event takes you on the water on a  round-trip cruise from Captiva to Pine Island in the company of local historians Betty Anholt and Brian Holaway, who will share the historical effects of hurricanes on Pine Island Sound and its environs. 

Hungry for more?  You’re in luck!  Included is lunch at Tarpon Lodge’s 4-star restaurant where the owner, Rob Wells,  tells the story of their 1926 lodge building and how it has been affected by hurricanes over the years.
