Sanibel Captiva Trust Company Sponsors CIHS Season

The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is proud to announce its continued support of Captiva Island Historical Society as the Presenting Sponsor of its 2024-25 season.

SCTC 2024.jpgThe effects of Hurricanes Helene, and 2 weeks later Milton, forced CIHS to reorganize its events schedule, which the organization will soon release.  But it was important for the Trust Company to step in and help the island’s historical stories continue to be told.

“Captiva Island is so rich with history, and now Helene and Milton have created more stories that need to be recorded for the future,” said Jeff Muddell,  President | Wealth Service of Sanibel Captiva Trust Company.  “While we know the island will have a modified season, it’s important for all the residents and visitors and supporters of CIHS to know that support is needed now more than ever, and our team is happy to do that to kick things off.”

“The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company’s long-standing sponsorship of the CIHS has provided our organization with the added financial resources to develop and present top-quality, educational programs,” said Tom Libonate, CIHS president.  "We can’t express enough appreciation for the confidence The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company has in our mission of providing education about the remarkable people and events that have shaped our island's past."
