  4. CIHS Tributes Co-Founder Dave Jensen

    Dave Jensen championed Captiva history. As a co-founder of the Captiva Island Historical Society, Dave remained an active Director on our Board, even after relocating to Italy. Of all the island organizations, it's natural the CIHS initiate the tribute to Dave and Captiva’s Jensen family.

    Monday evening, February 8th, an audience of some 85 people enjoyed a beautiful night in the open-air environment of McCarthy’s Marina to watch the acclaimed documentary film “Queen of Swing,” by Florida filmmaker John Biffar, presented by the Captiva Island Historical Society (CIHS).
